Can I edit my photo before I upload them?
For best results, you should not manipulate
your image prior to uploading it to our site. Simply upload the best photo you have.
What file formats do you recommend?
.JPG (JPEG)is the only file format accepted.
Most digital cameras use this format.
I received an improper character message when
I uploaded my photo file; what do I do?
The file name of your photo cannot contain spaces
or non alpha/numeric characters.
What size photos should I upload?
The accepted image file size is 300k maximum.
Most cameras have settings to control photo size. Select a size or quality setting
that makes the image 640x480 or larger for best results. Keep in mind, we resize
and optimize all images for presentation and speed on our site.
I uploaded a photo and an error message said that my file was too large to upload. How can I make it smaller?
Your photo file must be under 300k in size to upload. If you’d like to resize it and don’t have your own photo software, click here to resize your photo online.
Should I worry about resolution?
A higher or finer resolution produces a better
image quality, but it creates a larger image file. The accepted image file size
is 300k maximum. Larger image files take a long time to upload on a slow connection.
If you have DSL or a cable modem, you can upload your image as it is, since upload
speed should be fast. If you have a dial-up connection, you may want to try reducing
the quality setting on your camera to create a smaller file.
Can I change my photo after submitting an ad?
Yes. When you complete your ad, a confirmation
email will be sent. From this email click on the link, upload a new image and click
"Save Changes".
It appears my photo was lost after modifying
a listing record I previously submitted; what do I do?
Your photo is not lost if you are editing/modifying
an existing listing. Continue with your edits and your photo will appear along with
the updated info.
What happened to my photo after I received a
"missing information" message while submitting a listing for the first time?
Unfortunately your web browser kicks out the
uploaded photo when a "missing information" message is displayed. You will need
to re-upload your photo.
